FLIGHTRECORDER – that’s a leap of faith
Flight Recorder takes off with their debut single set for release in march 2025. Things started with Robin & Marcel meeting up to prepare a Todd Rundgren tribute show along with Oscar Kraal and Arto Boyadjan. After this they started to have a, mostly, online musical connection that resulted in Everything changes When You Turn It On and a ton of ideas for the ambitious 18 min Suite. With an almost similar record cabinet, the two wrote and played with a sound in mind that later became Flight Recorder’s debut album set for release in the summer of 2025, featurering Pop/Rock material with strong Prog and Artrock roots, both singing lead vocals. Next step will be translating the album for the stage for which the line up will be extended with extra musicians Madelief Van Vlijmen on bass and Guy Pek on drums, while releasing more great songs and videos thru the channels. Flight Recorder features Dutch powerhouse musicians: multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Robin Van Vliet (Slagerij Van Kampen, Media, Anouk, Racoon, Secret Combination) and guitar virtuoso and vocalist Marcel Singor (solo artist, Kayak, Ayreon, Bas Bron, Plan Nine).
